8 months agoA: Thanks for your inquiry, Tomas. My product expert has reviewed the VW Gold SportWagen and believes no special tools are are required to replace the coil springs, but have noted it will not work on the front struts.

Q: Would this tool work on side by side and atv shock springs?
4 years agoA: Thanks for your inquiry, Shaun RZR. This tool will not work on that type of spring. ATVs and Side by Sides use a coil over which is similar to a strut, but an automotive strut compressor will not work. The tool you need is designed specifically for this application and unfortunately we do not offer that item.

Q: Will this work for coil overs?
5 years agoA: Thanks for your inquiry, Reid. No, Coil Overs require a very specific Spring Compressor. They come in many various sizes, wire diameter and spring rates and are very application specific. Some mistake or call Struts Coil Overs and they are different items. We do not offer any tool for this application.

7 years agoA: This tool is designed to work early model domestic vehicles and is not designed for coated springs. We would need more vehicle specifics to generate an accurate answer for you but generally speaking, this tool is not recommended for Mercedes vehicles.
