Does not work like it should

Doesn't hold washer in place. Over-all the head 0n it is too big ,so even if you get the washer in the tool you can not turn it. Was working on a 2011 toyota sienna

Q: 5/8'' to 7/8'' is quite a spread,what holds the cap in place.is it magnatized? will it fit a 1993 ford f150, a 1963 ford falcon, 1997 honda crv, 1980 ford granada?

A: Given the nature of this tool’s use, nothing is required to hold the retainer in place while accommodating retainer sizes of 5/8” to 7/8”. Please see the following instructions for using this tool: 1. Install the Pin 2. Install the Spring 3. While using the tool to hold the cap in place against the spring and holding the pin in place from behind the backing plate, push on the tool, compressing the spring until the pin passes through the hole in the retainer(cap). 4. Turn tool handle 90 degrees, locking the retainer in place. This tool will accommodate the vehicles listed below, except for the 1997 Honda CRV. The Honda uses a unique tool that our vendor does not carry.
