Works on heavy duty liners after modding

I am a mechanic and I just bought and used this tool and it works great after I modified it to fit a 5" bore. I can't complain about the build quality, it's definitely sufficient for a heavy duty job. HOWEVER it certainly did not even get close to fitting a 5" bore let alone 7" as per specification. Fortunately I have a lathe and cut the cone back 2mm to force the arms out to 6" even. I did 4 liners and I am very pleased with the results. Just take it easy with the drill, definitely chose low gear and hold tight at half throttle, that does it.

Don’t waste your money!

Do not waste your hard earned money on this piece of garbage it broke 3 times in the first 5 minutes of use. First the arm bent then the stones cracked and broke, after that the crimps let go from the flexible section the whole thing went right in the garage as I was too frustrated to be bothered to take it back. I will never buy an OEM tool again!
