Doesn't work on Lexus/Toyota V6

The toyota oil filter requires 64 mm socket. This adjustable wrench simply doesn't work, although it claims that it can be used for filters up to 65 mm.

This filter remover is way to clunky for most vehicles. If you have no clearance around the filter then DON'T BUY IT. needs a good foot.

a must have tool for oil filter change

Used this to take off a very stubborn oil filter, it still took quite a bit of struggle but with out this tool i doubt i would have every took off the filter with my bare hands. make sure you know the size filter you have so you know which size wrench to buy it will make a big difference

As others have said, you need a bit of room to get this around your filter. The gripping band is a bit big, but makes for easy unscrewing.

nice wrench

this is a pretty decent fiter wrench, it grips hard and opens the filter like it's supposed without any fuss. it's a must have for the do it yourselfer oil changer. it offers the perfect grip and short stroke to open the filter and gets the job done everytime, it's not like the pretzel one i had before.
