Perfect bag for your backpacking, portaging, or camping needs. With the metal frame lining the bag, it will save your back on long and heavy trips. It has plenty of space inside at 85L. However it might look quite small for an 85L bag but it is because of the fully detachable day bag and fanny pack on the outside. It's like getting 3 bags-in-1! The day bag is a backpack with it's own shoulder straps and everything. So if you need a bag to just put all your camping tools, cooking pots, utensils and utilities in, get a regular camping pack with one large compartment. You won't benefit from the versatility of this bag. Another nice feature is the straps of the main bag can be zipped up and covered with a built in lining, in case you want to carry it on your shoulder like a regular duffel bag. There is also a water resistant liner that can be unrolled from a compartment up top to cover the whole bag on rainy days. One more thing I'd like to point out is the zipper bottom lining inside the main bag. You can separate your items down low and access the bottom of the bag from the outside. This is a very important feature when you have a couple days worth of items in there. Anyways, sweet item for CT to put on sale! I was extremely happy I picked it up while it was. Great deal at $95! PS this is my first CT review, that's how much I love the bag.

The shoulder padded straps and adjustable harness make it easier to carry as much as you need or want too. The rain repellent fabic and built in rain cover as saved me in a few bad weather days. All of the zippered pockets help in grabbing what you need and not opening the main backpack. Plus the lower zippered compartment is great for storing extra running shoes.
