Great trouble/shop light that is well worth having on hand or for being put to use regularly.

This is a high quality, portable light source and especially like the extra long power cord which most often allows it to be plugged directly into a power socket without the use of an extension cord. The illumination is bright - enough to light up the entire engine block of a standard pick-up truck and with its reflecting guard mounting, the lamp can easily and safely be gently tossed underneath a vehicle, porch, crawl space etc.

A: Thank you for your question and interest in our NOMA Trouble Lamp. You may use any bulb that is rated up to 75 watts. In LED, we can suggest an energy efficient NOMA A19 052-7043, which uses only 15 watts and will be equivalent to 100W or 052-2119 which uses only 26 watts and will be equivalent to 200W.

Q: Can this extension with bulb socket be used outside in the rain and snow or continuous use with a sensor bulb?

A: Hi Jo035 thank you for your inquiry, this trouble light is outdoor rated therefore it would be safe to use when in contact with the elements. We would not suggest leaving it on for continuous use with a sensor bulb.

A: Yes, this light is compatible with an LED bulb. In fact, this product can accept any medium base (E26) light bulb within the maximum wattage rating (75W) as long as it fits within the protective cage.
