The NOMA Outdoor Photocell Timer with Countdown features a built-in photo sensor to ensure your outdoor lights and other electronics are precisely timed. This outdoor timer can be programmed to automatically turn your lights on before dusk and then off at the dawn of the following day. The NOMA photocell timer even features a grounded outlet to protect against short circuits and electrical surges.

Noma Outdoor Timer for Christmas Lights

It is a simple little timer but works great. I have it set to come on at dusk and off at dawn and it works perfectly. You can also set it for staying on for 2,4,6 or 8 hours. Great little unit and not at all expensive. I would recommend it.

Q: Do you have to push little buttons down OR just turn a dial to set?

A: You just turn the dial and it's good to go. I have mine setup on a switch so I can turn off the lights manually but when I turn them back on, I don't have to touch the timer at all (very handy since it is setup on a soffit outlet out of reach)
