Unusual and sporadic phenomena developed

We purchased a few of these fans a few years ago for our grand daughters's bedrooms. Found easy to install, however, now there have been a few unusual and sporadic circumstances happening to one of the fans. The remote is mounted in its bracket on the wall above the wall light switch. The light for some reason now, comes on sporadically on its own. Anytime of the day or night, and it is irritating. We have changed the batteries in the remote, but this still happens. Anyone else have similar experiences.

Tricky installation

The security cable runs straight through the tube where the remote reciever has to go. I had to cut it to allow the reciever to fit in the cadle. Hook up the ground and power in the JB before securing the cadle to the JB. The unit works as intended. Good product for the price.

Great fan - stylish and affordable and gets job done

I bought this for one of our bedrooms and it was very easy to install. Fan has 3 speeds and is yes, it will make a bit of noise on maximum, but it works very well and cools quickly. The light is nice and bright and dimmer works well. Would recommend especially when on sale.

The worst product that I ever bought in Canadian Tire

Extremely loud fan! Light is so dim that I can barely see anything in my bedroom. Fan came with 75watt bulb that can not be replaced with stronger bulb due to fire hazard. This is useless product that I hope someone would buy off me on Kijiji..

Q: Is there a downrod extension available for this fan? I bought it but it doesn't fit because of the vaulted ceiling. I need it to hang down further so the blades will clear the sloped ceiling.

A: There is a 6 inch downrod. If you need to install this ceiling fan onto the vaulted ceiling. The downrod and the power line must be lengthened. Purchase a suitable downrod and power line at your local Canadian Tire store. We do suggest that you have this installed by a professional electrician.
