Q: As this is for a Gazebo and will be hanging from the centre... fairly high .... how long is the electrical cord? I am guessing I will need an extension cord in order for this to work?

A: I hung this light from the center of my 12x10 gazebo. The extension cord was long enough to reach the top of one of the corner posts, where we have installed an outlet box.
