These look great and actually provide more light than a 50W incandescent lamp. Canadian Tire should stop referring to LEDs lamps by using an equivalent incandescent light output because that is usually extremely misleading and also people don't realise the energy savings they will get by using it. CT should use the industry standard of stating how many lumens it provides as the primary rating value and the number of actual watts of consumption secondarily. Note these are not compatible with dimmers.

Q: what is the colour of the light more white or yellow?

A: The light is more yellow-orange, like a kerosene or candle light, which is the standard household light bulb you are used to. If you want a white light, you need to get a daylight bulb - 4500K or higher, which is much easier on the eyes, and you see colours as they are supposed to be.

A: Thank you for your question. These bulbs are LED. They are 50 watt bulbs but use 7 watts only of energy.

Q: Is there printing on the side of the bulb? My light fixture has exposed bulbs. Is there writing on the side of these bulbs? Has someone actually seen the product in store? I have found the images of the bulbs on this website to be inaccurate at times.

A: There is light grey etching on the side of the bulb that indicates the Noma logo and any of the technical details.
