    Great sale price

Love the fact they're dimmable. Offsets the fact they are not frosted.

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing NOMA products for your lighting needs.

    Worst.

It says it lasts 18 years. Doesn’t even last 18 weeks. It flickers and then it burns out. CT should take this off their shelves. There’s not a single good review about it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Flickers

As per the other reviewers I have had multiple "flickering" bulbs. Terrible quality.

    AVOID

I bought approximately 14 of these bulbs last fall when we switched out our light fixtures in an old farm house someone badly "modernised". We decided to go for lots of iron, open lights and the old style filament bulbs but didn't want incandescent lights. I've had a house full of LED bulbs for years now and have had maybe one or two fail over that time. Usually bulbs in enclosed light fixtures where the LEDs always perform poorly... Which I'm fine with, you aren't supposed to use them there. These bulbs are in open, exposed to air interior light fixture sockets. Of the 14 we bought I've had 7 go bad inside of six months. One which is supposed to be a 2700K light is almost as green when it's on as a Christmas light. The other six develop a flickering that starts infrequently, maybe once or twice an evening, until it becomes a near constant almost strobe light effect. They're all NOMA bulbs with a couple of different filament configurations which suggests it wasn't just a bad run of one bulb, lots of these fancy (and expensive) filament LED bulbs from NOMA have this issue. In sockets that had issues I've reinstalled the previous bulbs without issue. Originally I was actually concerned it may be a power issue because the failure rate was so high. However it impacts multiple circuits and no other types of bulbs on those circuits or even in the same sockets develop the same behaviour. Even ones that have been there for years. The worst part is NOMA is a Canadian Tire brand. There is no NOMA to complain to in the same way you could complain to Cree/Philips etc. And since these bulbs are failing one after another, basically one/two a month from about 2-3 months after install even if I still had the receipt I'd know that all of these bulbs are trash but only a few will be replaced. I won't be buying these ever again. I've already made sure everyone of my friends and family who comment on how nice the light fixtures are know that the bulbs are trash.

Changing my earlier review from excellent to awful...

There's no way I can edit or append to my earlier review (from about a year ago) when I first bought these light bulbs, because I wish I could help people avoid buying them now (and fear, if they only see my "excellent" review, they'll be sorely disappointed. The bulbs were great *at first*. I still contend that their kelvin colour was bang on with being warm and dimming nicely, but it's just that their longevity is a joke. At first, when one started to flicker, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume I got one bad apple in the bunch, but as time wore on, I'd say maybe 1 in every 2 have died on me (and by die, I mean as in 2 of the 4 filaments will have either died completely or degraded to consistent flickering when "on"). And these are bulbs that are *not* in enclosed fixtures either. It's a hassle to return them (just the effort and digging out of receipts is annoying), but luckily, instead of just offering for an exchange of a new box, the clerks always allow me just to get a full refund when I say I just don't even trust that a new box would be any better. Steer clear. Try to get Philips dimmable LED bulbs on sale instead as they've certainly proven to be faultless over long time use. I've learned the hard way that it's worth the premium.
