Last year I bought some Christmas lights that were on sale from a different store. Didn't open the box until this Christmas to find out that they were probably on sale because there were 4 lightbulbs missing - not broken - missing. I was very happy that Canadian Tire sold a bundle of them for a very good price. They work perfectly!

Forced to buy plastic tops just to get bulbs

Why can't I just buy replacement bulbs without being forced to buy more plastic covers? Why do I also need to buy replacement plastic tops at the same time that are basically throwaway plastic waste? These should be two separate products. It's 2023 - at least act like you somewhat care about plastic waste and the environment.

A: Unscrew the lens. Pry out the old bulb. Push in the new one, taking care to ensure that the wires on either side are located properly.
