This 8-foot inflatable tree features 24 mini LED lights with up to 8.5 million colour and speed combinations, allowing you to customize its display. This is actually a good product , if you don't need all the features it works great without the HUB. There is a control panel at the back where the speaker is with all the functions you can manually use for it to work

I bought these inflatable trees to add to my outdoor decor and NOMA Smart 2.0 lighting. First, setting this tree up was not easy, getting it to connect to the NOMA Smart hub took numerous attempts and required a full reset and scan of all of my installed NOMA Smart products. Sadly, they didn't last long it seems the weather takes a tole on them as the music box stopped playing music and the lights had a mind of their own. I came home often to find them flashing yellow and requiring a re-program. As I mentioned above, this required me to reprogram all of my lights each time. Very frustrating to have to deal with on a regular basis. Sadly, attempting to return these to Canadian Tire I was told that they do not take Christmas items back. These are defective, and can be replaced with another unit in store per the NOMA warranty. Truly frustrating waste of money. Less than a month of use and I am stuck paying for an item that is defective, and per many reviews I am not the only person. I won't purchase holiday decor or lights from Canadian Tire again. This lack of customer service towards holiday items is disrespectful to their customers. A holiday cash grab, not standing behind products and blaming in on a once a year item they sell.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Won't play music at all

I was excited to try these inflatable trees. I followed all instructions and was able to connect easily to the NOMA hub that I purchased with the trees. I am able to choose various lighting shows using the app but music will not play. I phoned the service line and the agent was unable to solve the issue. Our call was disconnected while he checked with a supervisor.

Q: We installed it 80 feet from the house (no hub). We can't get it to not blink when turning it on from a timer. How can we do that?

  • A: I'm not sure if you've resolved this yet but I had the same issue and was about to return it until I was fiddling with it and figured it out. Hold down the bottom right button "music mode/lightshow" for 5-8 seconds and the blinking stops. It also allows you to function through a few (not all) colours which suited me fine. I hope no one shows up to take it away, because I feel like I'm cheating by not buying the hub. The music and light shows were just of no interest to me so now it's just what I wanted.

Q: Each time I turn on the trees, it reverts back to blinking lights. I do not have a hub but if I push the buttons, I can usually get it working. Is there a way to have it stay on the music/lightshow without having to reset every time it turns on?

Q: Will this product work through the Philips Hue? We have several bulbs and plugs running through that but they are all hue products

  • A: No, there is a stand-alone NOMA app to control the lights and carols. You will also need to purchase the Wifi bridge.   Without the app and bridge, it will cycle through different lighting themes and effects without music.

Q: i have the v1 noma adavance lights that dont requier a hub. will these light work with the hub and the tree?

Q: I have a music problem, the tree is synchronized and controllable from the hub, however I cannot get any music to play. Have reset the device and reinstalled. I have no music either by use of the app or the controls on the tree
