Cloudy day power

My second solar panel I got it for those cloudy days when the crystalline solar panel doesn’t work so well and I think it was a worthwhile investment. Seems to work well and is small enough to pack and travel with.

We recently tested the 110006 Noma 25W Amorphous Solar Panel.
We had an excellent experience with it and it ease of use. It maintained our trailer batteries at the proper capacity, which means we never had to charge them with a generator. We would recommend to anyone who loves to spend time camping with the family to give this product a try.

This worked as expected. It was able to keep the battery topped up throughout the day while playing music and other light electrical usage.

Q: What charge controller is recommended for this unit?

A: The 8A or 10A charge controller is recommended for 25W solar panel and if you want to connect several 25W solar panels in parallel, a bigger controller is recommended, like 30A.

Q: Have a 72volt e scooter with six 12 volt batteries. Can I use a panel to maintain charge of these combined batteries?

A: If these 6 batteries (12 Voltage) connected in parallel, it can maintain charge of the batteries. If the batteries connected in series, the 25W amorphous panel (0110006) do not support 72 volts because its rated voltage is for 12V only

A: Absolutely! The 011-0007 does exactly that with extra cables intended to connect the panels together before routing them to the charge controller. Unfortunately, we do not sell the cables by themselves, so if the customer is not savvy in electrical work, I recommend they pick up the 011-0007.

Q: How will this charge a USB tablet? Do you need more attachment's?

A: By itself, this unit is not capable of doing that. The customer should not be charging a battery without a charge controller. If they not already done so, the customer should pick up the 011-0007 50 Amorphous kit. The charge controller comes equipped with USB slots for charging.

A: Yes, the solar panel could run lights, but please kindly note that 0110006 cannot connect directly with the lights, as only one accessory battery clamp cable included, so the light only can use with charged battery because the power from solar panel is AC electric. If the customer wants to have light which can use and connect with solar panel directly, our recommend is 011-0007 which included DC connector cable and two LED light

A: Unfortunately, this charge controller is not compatible with this unit.

Q: Does this have to be connected to a battery? Want to connect it directly to fan in a shed.

A: It must be connected to the battery, then the battery can supply the power to the fan. If it is the fan with AC power, the customer still needs to connect one inverter, changing the battery DC to AC electricity, then supply to the fan.
