Great Solar Panel!

I've been using it to charge my 12v battery for my boat sonar, I use it with a Coleman 8.5 amp charge controller and it works fine! I am very happy with this product, it's a good quality product.

In use as a grid-tie solar bank

I got 30x of these panels on sale. they are connected in parallel and fed into 600w grid-tie inverter.
When it is very cloudy, it is producing minimum 40W (after inverter), while normally during the day I get around 300W when sunny, and around 200W when hazy.
As for the angle, it seem to have very wide working angle, since it show no significant difference for approximately 60 degrees.
Another test I've did, 5 units connected in parallel on a full sun, had 12v air compressor working.

This is great product. Water tight, comes with lots of SAE type connectors and extension cord. I bought 6 of these while on sale to build foldable 90w solar panel, no complaints. I like most that it is not a fragile crystal.

Q: Does it matter if you put the Junction Box at the top (high end) of the panel or the low end?

A: The orientation of the junction box on the panel does not make a difference as long as the cells are facing out towards the sun.
