I’ve had this for a couple of months now. It is so handy and compact. No looking for long extension cords for a battery booster, or manoeuvring a vehicle to boost another vehicle and realize the booster cables are too short. This compact rig is the perfect solution for boosting dead batteries. Connect the booster, turn it on and start your vehicle. My ATV batteries are difficult to get at, but with this booster pack no problem. Even running my 12v compressor for my tires. The booster pack comes with the male and female 12v adapters. Plug in the booster pack to the compressor and you’re ready to fill up your tires. Very impressed with this device.

Very handy portable power bank / battery boost uni

My wife's car is aging rapidly, so I have this on hand to offer a quick jump option should the battery begin to flag. It also offers her a bright light in case of an emergency, and the option to charge her phone should she need to wait for CAA or myself to come render help. Useful if the alternator isn't the problem, and you just have an older vehicle with a car battery that ends up sitting unused for weeks at a time. This version has the lobster claw ends to clamp onto the battery terminals, and not the kind you need to unscrew the terminal leads and bolt the booster on as well. Far simpler with the clamps!

Cant say how impressed I am with this. My acura mdx battery died at work. Tried jumping it to and could get it to turn. Bought it this AM from Candian Tire charged it fully 2 hrs and worked instantly. Very impressed

Q: How do you charge/maintain charge of this unit?

  • A: The GB70 can be charged by two different methods. The first method is to charge it via any USB source like your computer/laptop, a USB AC adapter, a 12v USB adapter, etc. To charge the unit this way, you would connect the small end of the USB cable to the USB IN port on the GB70 and the large end of the USB cable to whatever charging source you'd like to use. The second method is through the 12V Auxiliary port (cigarette lighter) in your vehicle. The GB70 comes with a 12V XGC Charge cable and a 12V Male Adapter. You would plug one end of the 12V Charge cable into the 12V IN port on the GB70 and the other end into the 12V Male Adapter. The Male Adapter is then inserted into the 12V auxiliary port in the vehicle.

Q: I bought noco boost HD GB70 in canadian tire the guy who assisted me told me to charge the booster for 2 days straight. I'm wondering if i gonna follow to his adviced. My question is, is it right to charge the booster for 2 days?

Q: I have never been able to use this thing. It's dead every time I have needed it. Doesn't seem to store a charge for long at all. Does anyone else have this problem?

  • A: Mine is dead after 2 years even though I never had to use it. Even if I charge it for 10 hours it no longer holds any charge.

  • A: Price Nd the GB 70 ( 2000 amp ) can power some small items like an air pump while the GB 40 ( 1000 amp _ can't. They have different limits for engine sizes that thy can charge.

  • A: This product is compatible with your Ford Transit 150 battery. Please note that the battery on the Transit is not under the hood. There are terminals under the hood to connect the booster. You should familiarize yourself with the boosting procedure before attempting. I have used this booster on everything from cars to one ton trucks and farm tractors. Works well and easy to use.
