    Great while it works!

    Like one of the other reviews, we used ours intermittently for about a year and the tab that holds the lid securely when blending broke off while making a smoothie. If the lid is not secure, the blender will not operate (and it shouldn't since this thing will make short work of any body part that accidently gets inside). There is currently no replacement pitcher listed, so that's not an option. I have a Ninja Professional Kitchen System also, and the pitchers are different sizes (diameter at the base) so none of those attachments will work either. So I guess it's off to the trash with this thing.

    After less than a year of intermittent use, the pitcher has cracked and now leaks. It's apparently possible to buy a replacement motor unit + blade set but not a pitcher, so I'm left with a door stop.

    My fiance bought me this blender for my birthday and it's been hands down the best blender I've owned. It's really simple to use and easy to clean. It makes margaritas & smoothies perfectly! It doesn't leave any chunks of fruit or vegetables like my old blenders did (nutribullet and hamilton beach blenders). My sister owns a Vitamix and I'd say it's comparable without the hefty price tag.
