Good but different

I've used a Hamilton waffle maker for many years and this Ninja is quite different. The waffles are a bit denser and tend to be a bit softer than those from the Hamilton maker. luckily, I like the crispy texture from Hamilton and my husband likes the filling texture from Ninja. It's more work to wash the plates compared to Hamilton as they don't come out. I make a big batch of waffles and freeze some so I'll keep using both and save time.

Great at making waffles, but not a press

Amazing non-stick from ninja, but its really designed to only make waffles from batter. If you want to make waffle smashed croissants or potatoes or something along those lines.. its doesnt really work.

Q: do you have to pour the batter in the upright position?? I make recipes that are very thick, and really wouldn't pour

A: Yes, the Neverstick Waffle Maker is designed for upright pouring using the included Precision Pour Cup. However, if your batter is too thick to flow properly, we recommend adding a tablespoon of water or milk to thin it slightly. This helps ensure even cooking and prevents overflow.

A: It depends on how crispy you want them, it has 5 options. I use #3 and it usually takes 1 to 2 mins. They always look perfect.
