A powerful, all-in-one blender and food processor

The Ninja Mega Kitchen System is a total game changer for meal prep and smoothies. It blends frozen fruits and ice effortlessly, and the food processor attachment is amazing for chopping, kneading dough, and more. The large pitcher is perfect for family-sized portions, and the individual cups make on-the-go smoothies a breeze. Everything feels sturdy and well-designed, and it’s easy to clean. It truly combines multiple appliances in one powerful system.

A Must-Have for Every Kitchen.

Ninja Mega Kitchen System is my indispensable and reliable assistant in the kitchen, it has several attachments, it can be used to make smoothies, grind meat, knead dough, it is very easy to use and easy to clean. It is well thought out, well mounted on the countertop, has a reliable protection system. On the downside, it is loud and takes up space.

Brilliant family food processor & more

Brought this Ninja kitchen system in 2017 to help blend up my own meat. This is great and so versatile in what it can do so we’ve definitely made the most out of it since. It is brilliant for grinding nuts into powder, it’s great for mixing together a bolognaise and other sauces. Perfect for smoothies and milkshakes that even my children can use it (under supervision of course) they enjoy loading the food processor part and using the buttons to turn it on and choose which setting from the ones that light up but are not impressed with how loud it is. It’s easy to use, we tend to use it in the living room so the lead isn’t very long as it’s made as a kitchen worktop device but it still works great in an extension lead. I find it slightly difficult to clean fully and it sometimes needs washing several times to get a thorough clean. Overall I am extremely impressed with this however the jugs have been dropped several times in the 8 years we’ve had it and they do have a split in so we will be looking for a replacement soon. The price is slightly higher than we would normally pay for kitchen appliances but definitely worth it. Would recommend.

My all time favorite blender set! It comes with many attachments for an affordable price. It’s the perfect gift to anyone. It’s super sturdy and lasts many years. It’s also easy to use and easy to clean. It is pretty noisy but not unbearable. it’s completely worth it!

Q: Can I grind meat to make humbugger with this model?

2 Answers
  • A: Hello pigsieubig, We would like you to know that the Ninja® Mega Kitchen System is not a meat grinder. With this being said, you can certainly use the 64oz Processor Bowl with the Chopping Blade to chop meat. We recommend using short pulses until you get the consistency you desire. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team

Q: Can you make butters from nuts and can make grind up flax and chia seeds?

2 Answers
  • A: Yes. Using the nutri-cups (single serves) I have made butters using peanut, almond, walnut, cashew, and even notoriously difficult coconut. Seeds are also easy. I usually buy my flax pre-ground, but I have used it for chia seeds.

Q: Noise level Is it very loud when operating it?

2 Answers
  • A: It depends on your definition and to what you are comparing. The Ninja Mega is louder than the very cheap Oster smoothie maker it replaced, however I would not say it was particularly noisy. If somebody in the same room is trying to use the phone, they'll shoot you a dirty look for sure; however, I make a smoothie every morning at 7am when my spouse is still asleep in the next room and - even if I forget to fully close the bedroom door - she never hears it.

Q: Can the ninja blades scratch the plastic containers if you store the blades in them?

2 Answers
  • A: I guess that's a little ambiguous as it depends how you intend to store them; however, I leave both jug blades mounted in their respective containers and never have any scratches. The spare plastic dough-hook lives in a small box in a cupboard along with both Nutri-cups and the Nutri-cup blade _loose_ and nothing looks any worse for wear.

Q: Can this grind food as a food processor does? Example: Make almond flour from whole almonds, makes dates into a paste?

2 Answers
  • A: I've never tried to make almond _flour_, however I have made almond butter using the single-serve Nutri-cups, as well as peanut, walnut, cashew, and coconut. They are often quite dry to start, but with extended blending become butters. I've also used the same attachment to make oat flour. I'm not sure if the natural fats in almonds would allow them to be made in to straight flour; however, I have made my own almond _milk_ using the 72oz pitcher, which, after filtering, I was left with a gorgeous almond meal. If you took that and dried it out, then re-spun again in the Nutri-cup I would imagine you would get an excellent almond flour. As for dates: yes, I do this frequently. I make several no-bake date-based brownies and blend them to a paste in the food-processor bowl. Depending on the type and quality (and moisture level), you might want to soak dates for a half hour or so in hot water first. They can have a tendency to stick to the sides a bit, but it works best to pulse them rather than turn on and leave it, plus a few rounds of scraping down the sides with a spatula, but you can get a very consistent paste.
