Bell end is perfect fit for the pipe size I chose.

I bought this to repair my wife's car. Local mechanic quoted me at $300. this repair cost me less than $40 total, and was very simple with the end being the right size to slip right over the original part's and clamp in place. 1 hr and saved hundreds!

The exhaust wasn't really the one we wanted

The pipe we got wasn't the right one. ( As they didn't have the right pipe in stock) We were hoping we could make it work. But when we got home, it just wouldn't fit, so we couldn't use the pipe we got.

A: I am sure it refers to the larger end. That is so one can measure the existing pipe and make sure the extension fits over it.
