My 15 year old 2- cylinder Honda outboard would run this spring, but only on one cylinder. Two new NGK sparkplugs cured that problem. To my surprise, the 2 sparkplugs came with different gaps. I opened up the gap on one so that they were both within the Honda specs, and installed them. The motor now starts instantly, and runs smoothly, from full throttle down to idle. I'm a happy boater once again. By the way, I bought this motor used more than 10 years ago. It had the previous NGK plugs in them all those years. I removed them annually for a visual inspection, and they always looked fine. Perhaps this set will last just as long.
