Great window feeder

Easy to mount. Easy to clean. It takes a while for the hummingbird to find it so be patient and clean it every 3-4 days during warm weather.

First time trying a window feeder

Bought this to encourage the hummingbirds as they came around a bit last year. I haven't seen any yet but they seem to come after my flowers are in full bloom.

great little compact unit that allows good viewing

Great little unit that sits on the window. It has stayed on with no problems. Fits a decent amount of feed liquid. Just need the birds to come now. It would be nicer if the flower ports stood out in colour from the rest of the unit, but I have seen this unit in action before and the hummers still found their way to the feed.

Q: I purchased this feeder and have had it on the window for a couple of weeks and the humming birds will not go near it why?They keep preferring the old ones

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Kermit 06. It can be for a variety of reasons such as getting used to a new landing pattern or the mechanics of getting out the nectar. It is sometimes advised to take down any older feeders until the birds find and use the new feeder. Once they are regularly using the new feeder, existing feeders can go back up. Keep in mind it may several weeks before they find and begin feeding regularly from the feeder, so I would suggest keeping it up and not changing things too quickly. Happy Birding!

Q: To refill, does the feeder detach from the part that suctions to the window or do you have to remove the entire feeder from window?
