This plug-and-play, 42-inch electric fireplace is easily hung on the wall like a piece of art. Ideal for heating spaces up to 400 sq. ft. handily ensuring your comfort with a high and low setting. Use the included remote or front control panel to adjust the flame intensity, heat output, flame brightness, control the LED backlights and set the timer. Set the mood using the LED backlights with 10 color settings or cycle through a rainbow as it sparkles off the included crystal ember bed.

Fan is noisy. I would probably not have bought it if i knew how loud it was.
Power cord is black. Most people have light colored walls. A white cord wound have been much less obtrusive.

Its okay. Looks nice works well. I just wish they put a thermostat in it. Only hi n low heat. To hot on low.

Q: Can I use it as an insert? My friend has the same one and used it as an insert.. but since the vent is on the top where does the wheat go? I want to add a frame for the wall and insert it. On the box I bought it on it shows it being used an as insert

A: This is a wall mount only unit. It cannot be inserted into the wall. This would be a safety concern as the design is not intended for anything other than wall hanging.

A: Not at all, about the same as any electric fireplace as they have fans in them to distribute the heat. This one has a small almost like a rotisserie bar that makes the flame effect with light and shiny ribbon on the inside, mine kind of vibrates a bit but that's fixable. No issues on our end at all, we often sleep with it on a timer in the winter in our bedroom.
