Grill that doesn’t hit the mark

Overall a nice grill however there are some issues..The biggest is the uneven heating. One portion of the grill heats up hotter than the rest therefore making things cook much quicker. The inside shows some rust especially the heating element and the drip pan rusted and is not covered by warranty.

The Lex is one of our hot grills, if you're running into uneven heat, we suggest removing the burners and cleaning the inside with a venturi brush. Always make sure to keep the drip pan and sear plates clear of debris and grease build-up, this may help. Thanks

Have owned this grill for a couple years now and it works excellent. Great features and continues to deliver wonderful cooking experiences each time. Wish Napoleon would make the model again as I need another grill for the lake!

Bought it last Xmas with the hope of working on island construction over the winter months. Took longer than imagined but finally completed and used this week.

Grill provides very even heat. Infrared burner is really hot and seals juices in. Temperature in the grill can be controlled for even cooking. Grease pan must be cleaned regularly. It has caught fire several times, damaging grill.

Purchased May 2020. Plenty of room to grill and infrared burners provide excellent heat and can be used to cook quickly. Sturdy and well built. Downside: side burner igniter does not work. Side burner area does not allow for a large pan as rotisserie bracket sticks our and prohibits a pan to be squarely on burner. Does not come with a tank gauge to tell how much gas remains in tank. Catch basin for burnt food particles is too small. Flame covers do not distribute heat evenly.

  • A: Hi, Thank you for the great question. The LEX605RSBI grill has 605 sq. inches of primary cooking surface. That is actually how we number our grills. The LEX485 would have 485 sq. in., The T410 would have 410 sq. in. so on and so on. Hope this helps you.
