I bought this on sale, and so far I'm pretty happy with it. Went together easily, but you have to be careful and not rush to get it right. Seems to be of good quality and our first meals have been good. Has lots of power so heats up well. Can keep the temp reasonable if you want a long cook like chicken.

I purchased this BBQ in April last year (14 months old) and the screw cap that connects the hose to the propane tank just broke. I realized this after the BBQ failed to light. The BBQ has seen consistent but not frequent use, and has lived securely on my covered balcony. The plastic piece that broke should probably be metal, as this one failure now requires the purchase of a whole new hose and regulator (which is not cheap). Of course this component is not covered under the warranty after 12 months. Not very impressed when the whole point of spending the extra money on this BBQ was for the supposed quality. Additionally, the electric ignition for the side-burner never worked from day one (others worked fine) and the front door does not shut properly. Since I normally prefer to spend some extra money in order to purchase a quality product that is reliable, I will not be purchasing another Napoleon BBQ. The extra cost certainly doesn't equate to any better quality from my experience.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can I get a cover for this model? We recently bought the small spaces legend and are very pleased with it, but we would like a cover that fits it. This model is exclusive to Canadian Tire, so I am unable to order one through Napoleon. Does Canadian Tire carry one?

Q: Is it possible to get a stainless steel grill for this barbecue? The Napoleon 308 grills give you a choice of upgrading to a stainless steel grill.

A: Thank you for your question. We do not provide that option at Canadian Tire. We offer the BBQ with porcelain coated cast iron grates which are also top of the line grates.

Q: Is this stainless steel from top to bottom and is it 304 or 430 grade SS?

A: Yes the Small Space Napoleon is primarily stainless steel except for a side and base panel of the cart. Those are powder coated galvanized steel so they will resist rust just as well as stainless steel. Napoleon uses 304 stainless steel for their burners as this will need to absorb the most amount of heat. The remainder of the BBQ is 430 stainless steel which also holds up over time. This BBQ comes with a 10 year limited warranty.

A: You can purchase the Napoleon 3 piece Toolset (sku 085-2150) which includes a brass bristle brush designed specifically to clean your Napoleon BBQ.

A: We always recommend to clean any porcelain coated cast iron cooking grids with brass bristle cleaning brushes. I would only use stainless steel bristle brush on a stainless steel cooking grid. Using brass on cast iron will help increase the lifespan of your cooking grids.

Q: what to do if damaged? When I saw the box today it did not appear to be the original packing of a new item. If I buy it, and then at home I find out one of the parts is damaged (bent or something like that) what is the procedure?
