We have had a fireplace and mantle built around the Astound with the three glass sides visible. It heats our rec room quickly and provides great ambiance when heat isn’t needed. The fireplace has beautifully finished our rec room.

Multiple ways for a custom installation and use

Electric heater / fireplace works wonderfully with very quiet operation, even when the blower fan is running on high. Our current setup is 120V wall mount, but are considering hardwired as a partially built-in unit. The decided selection factor was the three sided display, perfect when installation is on a long wall of a narrow room, every seat has a view of the fire box. Being able to conveniently remove the front glass for regular change up of the display contents and/or dusting is a bonus too. Remote control is not in use, we are interfacing directly with the Napoleon app or Google voice commands.
