Backroadz tent and link

I have had a backroadz tent and link for the past 3 years.we use it a lot we have been across canada and USA.we love it,we use it on a f150 truck with a 5.5 foot box

Gamechanger for the truck tent

We used the Link for the first time camping at a music festival with several storms throughout the weekend. It made the truck tent SO much more comfortable: to get in and out of, to get changed standing up, to sit in chairs in the rain. I had read concerns about leaks in the reviews, so I was careful with stretching the Link tightly over the tent fly, and it worked well. Our stuff stayed dry. But when we were taking it down this morning, we were surprised to find a sizable pool of water in the corner under the tailgate. Not sure why.

So I have a Rightline truck bed tent and was looking for an suv/car tent when I came across this “link tent” while it wasn’t designed to fit this make it turned out to work good enough for my needs. Having a Jeep gladiator space is a premium and weather expected rain. We got a lot of rain and thunderstorm. Tent held up great. This worked perfect to set up a dry space and even lounging for me and my gf. Was able to make it fit, no leakage around the link. Happy with the purchase. Only little thing I can comment on is that when the door was open and rain was was coming off the fly it did come into the tent. This is where it could use more of an overhang for the rain fly to the door.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: There is a large bungee / stretchy style opening. It gets pulled around the regular truck tent opening support pole (the one that goes from left to right above the tent door) and down under the tailgate. It sets up fairly easily

A: Hi, thank you for your question. The Napier Backroadz link needs to be paired with the Napier truck bed tent. It will not pair up to a truck cap perfectly.

Q: Does this only attach to a tent? I have a half ton this a canopy that we sleep in and want to know if this could possible attach to that? Also does stand on its own?

A: Hi, thank you for your question. Yes, this would work as a standalone unit but the link component of this tent is meant to connect to another Napier tent specifically. Without knowing what type of canopy you have I can't comment on if this will mate-up as intended.
