Quality Grease for Trailer Axles

Using this grease for my 5th Wheel Dexter Trailer Axle Wheel Bearings. For my axles, this is 1 of 20 approved Grease Applications from Dexter. Stands up well to the high tempuratures generated from towing. Description is missing a key point that this is a lithium complex grease application which is required for most wheel bearing applications. Avoid mixing lithium complex grease with other types of grease. Not compatible with Barium, Clay or Polyurea based grease. Mixing can cause the grease to harden or liquify which will result in bearing failure.

Q: Is this grease appropriate for U-Joints?

A: Sure. It just has a higher melting/vaporization point. You don't need it on U joints since they don't get that hot. Multi-purpose would be fine and cheaper.
