Threaded mounts don’t last for even half of the disc being used

I had not seen these threaded flap discs previously and everything seemed to be of that style so got a couple with reservations as to their suitability. They fit onto the driveshaft well enough but the lock ring did not due to the thickness of the thread ring. The ring worked well enough but the plastic threads gave out at about only half of the disc being used. Not a very good value when the threads don’t last. I’ll be sure to source out the classic connections in the future.
