It’s great for putting bolts and nuts 🥜 n but for taking things off the battery dies very quickly and you end up using breaker bar and ratchet

Thanks for your feedback. Battery runtime can vary depending on how much torque is required to remove the fasteners. Rusted, seized or over-torqued nuts and bolts can require considerably more power and may need to be loosened first with a breaker bar. We also recommend fully charging the battery before first use, as batteries do not arrive fully charged. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

Not powerful enough to break lugs torqued at 100 ft lb. Still hastened tire change process after using breaker bar. Seems more suitable for lighter bolts. Will likely try to exchange for higher power model if CT allows.

Appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. When it comes to removing wheel nuts, results can vary quite a bit depending on how tight they are. If they’ve been over-tightened or exposed to rust, a mid-torque impact wrench may struggle and you might need to break them loose first or use a higher-torque tool.
It’s also worth making sure the battery is fully charged, as that can make a noticeable difference in performance, and using proper impact-rated sockets helps ensure the tool is delivering its full power. Thanks again for the feedback

  • A: This tool is used with impact sockets that fit a 1/2" anvil. Please refer to item 58-7496 as an example. While there are many uses for the tool it is often used to remove / fasten lug nuts when rotating automobile tires, loosening and tightening bolts, driving lad screws, etc. It is not a tool used for high speed drill bits, etc.
