Nice unit, built cheap

Bought this unit and within months had to manually u plug it as the power switch wouldn’t turn it off. Cheap electronics

Loud Knocking Sound

Dont waste your time or money on this one. I bought it a month ago and after a couple hours of assembly, we turned it on and there was a very loud knocking sound coming from the rotator in the back. We tried to trouble shoot it, but it just kept getting louder. So we exchanged the whole unit for a new one (canadian tire was very nice about it) and now its been exactly 1 month and the annoying knocking is back.,... We will be returning it for a refund. I am very disappointed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

good electric fireplace

wanted a fireplace underneath the wall tv rack and decided to go with this unit when it was on sale. i think the quality is good, the assembly took some time but it was straight forward for most part. just the installation of the fireplace unit there was a step missing or it wasn't properly explained but i was able to figure it out. dark chocolate brown goes well with other furniture in the room and the top is dark glass sitting on a metal frame so it could well be used for a tv stand. just make sure you use the wall ancor so unit does not tip should someone rock it. the heater itself is pretty good for a smaller room the only thing is it does make a bit of noise when working and of course there is no wood smell but rather a bit of metallic one for a first few days, fake electric fire looks pretty authentic. there are also six racks for storage. overall satisfied with the purchase.
