Had three lighters that were nearly empty so bought this to refill. The first lighter was a candle lighter which worked fine so I filled it up and it stopped working. I could hear the gas coming out and it was sparking but wouldn't light. Second was a cigar lighter and the same thing. It was working and after a refill it wasn't. Being stubborn I tried it on the third lighter and same result (shocking). I thought I'd test the fluid so I went outside and released a whole bunch into a glass and put a match to the liquid and it wouldn't burn. Clearly defective and I won't buy it again. I emptied all of the lighters and filled with another brand and they work fine.

More than one use

Now that refillable lighters are almost a thing of the past these smaller cans of butane are a perfect addition to the household first aid kit. In tick season keep one handy along with a bag of cottonballs for the perfect way of removing ticks from pets spray a small amount onto a cottonball and hold to the tick becareful because it is cold and it should pull its head out if not try again but never spray the butane directly onto your pet it will freeze skin.
