Needs to have rubber on side of clamp screw.

Bought this last month. I got to use it today and trolling motor came off twice, just one side. Screws were tight tried to put it right back on, but had to losen the clamp screw. Very scary while running the boat.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Intex Trolling Motor Mount

Easy assembly and mounting. Light, but very durable. Works exceptionally well with the battery operated trolling motor. We were very pleased with the design of the mount and how well the motor performed with the mount on the Mariner 4.

Haven't blown up the boat to try it on. Wouldn't do much good I haven't gotten a trolling motor yet.

A: Hi Bobby. Thank you for considering our product. The Intex Motor Mount Kit has only been tested by the manufacturer on Intex inflatable boats. There is no guarantee our Sand Filter will work on another manufacturer's inflatable boat since it has not been tested.

A: After doing a little research, it sure looks like this nice motor mount will not fit the inflatable Seahawk 400 model#68343. The boat itself does not have the necessary built-in hardware on it to attach the motor mount.
