A: This Bulldog 2,000 lb jack comes with the versatility of using a foot plate or caster, the accessories are not included with the jack. You can purchase the foot plate accessory (040-6912) or caster with Polywheel (040-6915) at your local Canadian Tire store or www.canadiantire.ca

A: Yes the 40-6915-2 caster does fit on the 40-6906-4 Bulldog jack. This caster fits all "15" series Bulldog round-tube jacks, however the maximum weight rating for the caster is 800 lb.

Q: Does this jack swivel? I am curious if this jack swivels 90 degrees for more clearance?

A: Yes, this jack does swivel. The bracket is bolted onto the trailer and there is a spring-loaded plunger pin which, when pulled, allows you to swivel the jack 90 degrees - release the pin again to hold in the 90 degree position.

Q: Does this jack come with the bolts and flat brackets? I was looking at this jack for awhile in a few different locations and when I bought it, there were no bolts or mounting 'straps' that the bolts are to attach to. Are these available separately or did I get one with missing pieces?

A: This Bulldog jack (Part Number 151443) does in fact come with the rear bracket plates and bolt/nut hardware. Firstly, please verify you have the correct Part Number, which should be printed on the label of the jack. It is possible you have purchased another model as many Bulldog jacks look very similar. If you are in fact missing hardware, we would suggest returning to your local store or contacting Bulldog Customer Service directly.

Q: how many inches is the jack from the top to the bottom of the outside casing, not including the 10 inches mention for jacking height travel

A: Retracted, the jack tubing is 15.0-inches from the bottom of the tube to the top; including the top crank handle, the jack is 17.7-inches in height. Specifically, the jack is 11-inches from the bottom of the tube to the centre of the mounting bracket. From the centre of the mounting bracket to the top of the tube is 4-inches. The top crank handle is another 2.7-inches. Extended, the jack adds 10-inches to the overall length.
