Q: Retracted height to base from mounting plate When fully retracted what is the height from the bottom foot to the mounting plate?

A: The retracted length from the bottom of the footplate to the bottom of the mounting plate is 8.17” +/- 0.53. For reference, the thickness of the mounting plate is 0.236” +/- 0.01.
