I purchased 2 of these on sale. The 1st. I installed on my atv. Though if I had my time back I don’t know that I would have taken the trouble. The mounting plate was not adaptable to my atv. Considering it is the most popular on the market Canadian tire missed the mark. My winch was rated at 3000 lbs. the fairlead included was not of standard width,with pencil thin rollers. And did not fit the mounting holes on the aftermarket mounting plate I had to buy. And then we get to the wiring. The contactor is in a sealed box the motor leads being little better than a foot long requires mounting of contactor above winch in wheel well. Obviously this is not ideal taking into account the environment. The wiring barely reached the battery without the niceties of neatness or ergonomics. Not a mm to spare. The ground wire was too short by a mile to reach bikes ground point. Ended up having to extend that. The switch cable was easily 2ft longer than I needed. That is the only redeeming aspect with regard to the wiring provided. I think that I will be returning the 2nd one!

No, I do not recommend this product.
