This vinyl roof pad prevents car top carrier bags from shifting during transit and helps to protect the roof surface from sharp objects. This adjustable roof pad can be cut to size to accommodate use with any carrier, and is recommended for use with the MotoMaster Car Top Carrier on vehicles without a roof rack. The roof pad measures 39" L x 34" W.

I almost didn't buy this when I bought the large size MotoMaster Soft Rooftop Carrier bag. Am I ever glad I did! Trust me on this! It gives peace of mind when you are going up hills or down, or when its windy. Think about it. Your vehicle is painted and smooth. As far as I'm concerned they should include this automatically when you buy the carrier.
