Great Product

Great choice I made. I use this to power my Minn Kota 55 lb Thrust trolling motor. It powered my flotation for a full 8 hrs on the latest Flyfishing adventure I was on. The Technician / Associate at the counter was very knowledable and pointed me in the right direction when I reviewd that specs I was looking for.

Battery failed after one season

My battery failed/defect one month after the 12 month warranty expired. The battery was always on a battery tender when not in use and was properly stored during the winter. This is the second battery I buy that doesn’t even last 3 years and the store will not offer any solution other than buying a new battery. Very disappointing!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Rest assured that MotoMaster Nautilus batteries are manufactured by one of the world's premier lead-acid battery manufacturers and go through extensive quality assurance testing. Shorter-than-expected life is usually the result of over-discharging or a poor charging regimen. Based on the test printout you shared, please consider the following... 1. Please try to fully charge the battery before testing. 2. 830 is not the CCA rating of this battery; it is the MCA rating. Please select MCA (or CA) on your battery tester. 3. Critically important, you must test the battery from the lead automotive terminals. Your Midtronics tester is a conductance-type battery tester. If you test from the steel stud posts, it misleads the tester to think the battery has a high amount of internal resistance and automatically leads to a "fail" result. Hope this helps.
