Q: Can this be used to extract about 1 litre of 75W-90 gear oil from a quart sized bottle and then pump it “ up “ into the filler hole of a transfer case? There’s no room on my vehicle to hold the pump’s main body above the filler hole.

Good for measured ATF refill through the dipstock check hole

a month ago

This was used to extract ATF fluids in measured quantity to match the amount drained. In this case, the refill hole was the measuring dipstick hole, and it fit in there very well. Take your time pulling liquid in so you don't break it, especially if working with thicker fluids like gear oil. ATF was easy.

Used the item to change my tranny and diff oil. Worked really well. Just make sure to clean it good after use. I would highly recommend it.

Fluid Transfer Syringe

It worked well for my GRU fluid in my EV. Suction is strong and fluid transfer is smooth. Built in screen aids in peace of mind you are not contaminating fresh oil. It is big, 1.5 litre, but l bought that size intentionally. The hose is long enough to keep the syringe away from engine components while filling transmission, differential...etc.
