Does not fit VW 2012-2015 2.5l engine

The filter does not fit, the interior diameter is slightly smaller, so it does not "slide" into the filter housing. Now, imagine this happening by the end of November, it is cold outside and the oil is already out of the engine. This is the 17th filter used on this car and I've used pretty much most of the available brands: VW OEM, MANN, FRAM, Quaqer State, Mobil1, etc. This one is poorly built from the first view, the ends are made of (very) rigid plastic, while others brands are soft and/or have a soft gasket. No end gasket for this one, even if the picture on the box looks otherwise. It happens that I have two oil filter housings, this filter does not fit any, nor the top which is on the engine, although the height and diameter looks the same as the others that fit.

No, I do not recommend this product.
