Just a lubricant. No De-Ice.

Caused my locks to freeze more often. I was better off without this useless spray.
It does lubricate but the lubricant disappears very quickly.

Very strong chemical smell

I found that it didn’t work very quickly and had to do repeated doses. It is also very strong smelling, and both my wife and I used it and wrecked our gloves from the smell. We tried washing the gloves and now our machine and entire laundry room smell like someone poured gasoline in there. I honestly can’t believe there aren’t a hundred reviews saying the same thing. I guess that’s why people are trying to see the msds sheets on it. Hopefully our washing machine isn’t effed. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Q: Does this work on house door locks? Ours has been freezing up on the days we get rain and then below freezing temperatures

A: It could help for sure. This product is meant to be sprayed using the supplied tube directly into the key slot. This will unfreeze and lubricate the lock mechanism. I found it best to give it a couple of light sprays let it penetrate for a feed seconds before trying to unlock.
