These wheel chocks are great. They did not slide and keep the vehicle in place. No rubber smell. The one thing that I did notice right away, is that the ropes on both were frayed about 50% of the way through. Must have been during the shipping and handling process that the rubbed on the steel crimps. The steel primps also needed to be hammered down a bit to get rid of the sharp edge

Nice product but it Stinks!

In my opinion this is the best wheel chock that CT carries but the smell...After buying them I put them in my single car stand-alone garage. Two days later when I opened the doors to get something the garage reeked. The smell was overpowering.
I took them back to CT and the Returns clerk equally agreed that the chocks stunk. I would have kept them if not for the outgassing of the chemicals used to build them.
By the way, there is still a lingering odor a day later.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Have a pair of these, they are the BEST chocks I have ever found and I spent somewhere around $150 for the fancy ones for my RV. The grip of these actually makes it difficult to remove them after you've smacked them into place. Would buy over and over again.
