Piece of junk

My wife bought me this light last year. Only used it a few times, and mostly worked fine. Not along light span between charges. However I plugged it in a couple of days ago to charge it up, red light came on, after a bit of charging the green light came on. So I said must be charged ok, but when I pressed the on button the charge light turned red and the main light would not come on. Piece of junk if I must say so...money down the drain. And I see now that Cdn Tire has discontinued this item in their stores, so they must of know the same thing, a piece of junk. My thoughts for the day.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Disappointed with this product

Worked great the first couple of times that I used it. Hasn't worked since. Light showing that it is charged, but won't light up. Stored inside the entire time that I had it. Only used for a total of approximately 45 minutes.

No, I do not recommend this product.

  • A: Battery doesn't last very long even in my heated garage so I would expect it to be almost useless in a cold environment.

  • A: If you want to charge the light in car, then you need find one cigarette plug with USB outlet, because USB outlet will be 5V, then you find one cabel(one end is round pin to connect to the light, another USB end connect to the USB cigarette plug), then you can charge the light through car.

Q: Hi my tripod 3 blades motomaster model 037-9931-4 doesnt charge nor light up . A yellow light is on but nothing else happena

1 Answer
  • A: According to the description of the phenomenon, it is preliminarily determined that it is caused by diode leakage on the circuit board inside the product, possibly because the temperature is too high, leading to diode reverse leakage. If you are still within the one-year warranty period and have a record of purchase, it is recommended to go to the store for a free exchange.

Q: This was a father's day gift it's been used maybe three times the battery shows fully charged but it doesn't work any suggestions. I don't have the receipt and my daughter can't find the original.

  • A: I had the same issue with one that I purchased.  It required an exchange for a new one.  If you know about when you purchase it they may be able to find your receipt for you at the same store. The process of finding it through customer service will be easier if a credit card was used.  Good luck
