    Questions

    1 - 4 of 4 Questions

Q: The container says this bottle treats 75L. The same size, and probably same fuel conditioner of Sta-bil treats 303L. Which one is wrong ?

    1 Answer
    • A: Probably no difference. This one says it specifically designed for Marine use so I bought it because I was putting it in my boat. Maybe it protects fuel lines from excessive moisture in a marine application. It’s just like when synthetic oil first came out….. everyone said not to use it in a marine application engine even though it’s a GMC engine. Now you can buy synthetic oil for a marine application. I guess it’s what you prefer. If you want to go cheap charlie don’t cry later that it didn’t work. You get what you pay for.

Q: Does this product actually remove or suspend water? It makes no mention of it. Brian

    1 Answer
    • A: I don’t believe so it just keeps the fuel from going bad and gumming up the carbs and fuel lines  There is a product that is sold that removes water that I used once but I don’t remember  the name. Its  a product that is in a tube that you put in the fuel tank and it acts like a sponge and sucks the water out it’s on a string so it’s easy to put in and take out. Check it out on Google

Q: I would like someone to tell me the difference between the "marine" product (blue) and the standard product (red)....and don't say 'the colour". At almost twice the price, I suspect that the difference is in the marketing, driving up the price.

    1 Answer
    • A: The twice the price statement is incorrect, see below pricing: The 250 mL Regular (red) Fuel Stabilizer is $8.99. The 250 mL Marine (blue) Fuel Stabilizer is $9.99. Additionally, the formulas vary in terms of the solvent and the marine product does have a different formula specific to Marine engines.

Q: Fuel has been stored all winter. Will the fuel stabilizer clean it up? Bruce

    1 Answer
    • A: Fuel stabilizer should be put in prior to storage. Unfortunately old gas gets stale and there is no guarantee that it will clean up or revitalize old gas.
