Tire rack

Had a stand mount, purchased another 4 tires for my second car, this was a space saver: mounted on the wall beautifully. Take your measurments with tires before installing

Best way to store tires with rims

After studying on-line best way to store tires on rims I came upon CT ad for this unit. It was small enough it did not take a lot of room in my garage. Found it to be sturdy and well built. I use a pulley system from my garage roof to make it easier for an older man to mount top tires.

Good but flawed for most applications

Sports cars beware! Built it easily looks really nice. I was hoping to use it to display my second set of wheels for my mercedes, but the bolt doesn't go deep enough for wheels with a larger offset. The bolts included are nearly impossible to batch to the red plastic sleeve. I just ended up returning it and I'll find an alternative. If this rack had deeper bolts for more variety of wheels I'd give it stars.

Compact solution.

This is a sturdy, well designed, adjustable rack for all but the most extreme wheel/tire sizes. You can set it up and install it quickly and easily in almost any area, your wheels are conveniently located out of the way yet easily accessible when you need to swap out.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

Q: What is the depth of this unit in addition to the thickness of the tires? How much total thickness should I be adding to my tire thickness for overall depth of the final installation? I need to confirm if I can still park my car on beside it.

  • A: The depth is about 6 inches on the bottom of the rack. it sits flat on the wall. add like 6 inches or so to the thickness of ur tires.

Q: I just purchased this Motormaster compact tire rack and my studs are not lining up in any way with adjusting to the minimum and the maximum. Is there a workaround without jeopardizing the weight ratings and safety?

  • A: Part of the benefit of this MotoMaster Compact Tire Rack is it's ground-supported install-anywhere capability. However, does have an optional wall-stud mount configuration but can only be done so using "Setting 3 Wall-Stud Mount". The "vertical" uprights of the tire rack have pre-drilled holes for then securing the rack to framing 16" O.C.

Q: Can this be installed over Drywall above ground. Or should we install this as close to the ground if there are no studs in Garage. Can Canadian Tire add the manual under resources.

Q: Wondering what the maximum tire width you can use with this setup.  I’ve got a set of 345 drag radials I’d like to put on but not sure the width will work?
