For the price these are ok. They are a bit flimsy when opening and closing but they do the job

For the intended purpose, and at the price paid, these clamps are definitely good value and built better than other brands. I am satisfied and then some with their performance. I really like how the copper 'teeth' extend out past the 'jaws', not only within the 'bite' of the jaws but also with the extended 'lobster claw' tips out the end of the jaws. The design of the copper inserts gives more options for making a connection, even when there's extra hardware on the terminal to deal with. These clamps can achieve a nice wide bite without struggling due to the springs opening easily but still having good clamping pressure to remain connected once in place. This ensures better contact and conductivity. Other clamps usually make much less contact. The connection is often being made by the coated metal of the jaw and not the copper inserts the conductor cables are terminated to. Plus, other brands have inserts that are too small and recessed to be able to actually get in contact with the terminals unless placed in an exact, ideal position. I also give top marks for the copper insert on the one side of the jaw being able to be removed to allow crimping the cable to the tabs on the insert with a proper crimping tool. No more having to fold them over with a screwdriver. These really are well designed and built solid. I should have gotten more of these while they were on special, but I won't hesitate to pick them up again even at the regular price.
