    AC Connector wrong

The design of the AC connector is such that ANY extension cord will not plug into it. I just tested the DC functionality, and this is a great little pump. Its unfortunate that I'm going to have to "cut" all the plastic out of the way to get a AC plug to fit.

    Compact works great.

I think this is a good product not sure why its discontinued! I've used a standard orange extension cord (single plug end) to power mine on AC current. Yes it is polarized (neutral prong is larger). Unfortunately the DC cord isn't working, but Im sure its something simple to fix since the pump works fine. I was unable to exchange mine.. so I think I will "fix it" before returning for a refund. What I liked most about the unit was it has nice compact design.. compressor runs quiet (zero to full pressure on 18 inch tire in about 3 to 4 minutes)... a nice analog pressure gauge display.. and all accessories and cords tuck neatly inside (except the AC cord).

    Yes, I recommend this product.

difficult to plug in to AC power supply

This unit does not have a cord to plug in to AC power supply. Instead it has two prongs recessed into the housing above the cover on the back which encloses storage compartment for accessories. My single female ended block heater cord will not fit into this recess. In fact , I have not been able to locate an extension cord with a narrow enough female end to fit into this recess to receive the male prongs. This unit does work satisfactorily with DC current. I am going to figure out some way to attach a power cord permanently as I bought it on sale and I like the analog pressure gauge.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    • A: No this has not been fixed! I bought one of these inflators last weekend, and I cant connect an extension cord to it.

Q: As of Nov 2018 the AC male connector on this unit still will not accept an extension cord. Why in the question area (5 months ago) did someone from CT state that all inventory has been corrected? I bought this yesterday and the design is still wrong.

    1 Answer
    • A: We have confirmed the design of this product had been updated from the supplier in July of 2017. However and regrettably, due to a variety of circumstances there can be a small amount of residual inventory at our retail stores of the previous design.

Q: This compressor handle Presta and Schrader valves?

    1 Answer
    • A: The inflation chuck on this MotoMaster Inflator is compatible with Schrader valve stems, like those found on passenger cars. While the compressor is capable of inflating Presta valve stems, it will require a Schrader-to-Presta adaptor (not included) for compatibility. Lastly, you may find it interesting to know we are aware of the growing number of bicycles using Presta valve stems and in 2019 will begin including them in selected MotoMaster inflators.

Q: Where can I get a replacement fuse for this product? Store in Kapuskasing advised me that they do not sell replacement fuses for this product. Just wondering where I can get them? Will any 15 amp glass fuse work?

    1 Answer
    • A: This product uses a 30xφ6 mm 15A fuse, and there is a backup fuse for DC 12V adaptor (customer can find it in accessories). Customer can also call 1-877-466-8191 (after-sale service office in Canada) for help; they have stock of this fuse.
