Waste of money

Purchased these to put on my childs BMX Clutch bike. Figured since it says it adapts from 10mm or 14mm it would work. WRONG These will not fit any Supercycle brand that we have found at all. The only option is to buy a new, longer axle and install that too , otherwise the axle is too short. Cant find the reciept of course so now we are stuck with useless pegs

A: The dimensions are: 100MM LONG X 38MM OD, STEEL WITH TWO 10MM "F" & TWO 14MM "R" WITH SMOOTH SURFACE The front and rear pegs are the same length and diameter but the front fits on a 10mm axle and the rear fits on a 14mm.

Q: Why don't these pegs fit on the BMX bike we bought? The axle doesn't seem to be long enough for the pegs to be attached. We bought the bike and the pegs at the same time with help from store staff. Am I doing something wrong?

Q: can the bmx pegs be put on a regular mountain bike?

A: You wouldn’t be able to fit BMX pegs on an MTB because the hub axles are not long enough. That’s one reason, another may be that the mtb axle is the wrong diameter. But the first point rules out compatibility in any case.
