Need a new valve

a year ago

We need to buy a whole new valve because the electronics were burned out when our power went out. As far as I can tell, we were never told that this should be on a surge protector. This valve is only years old and should not have to replaced because the unit could not deal with the power going on and off.

Shower is best i have every owned.

Installed this in my new home 2 years ago and it is a great shower. Works well. Could use some improvements to the app. You can buy a battery backup, but the app does not show you if it has good batteries or not. Probably an oversight that can be added later. Still a great experience.

Well I have to say after reading other people’s comments I needed to chime in! I installed the system myself about a year ago and only issue was getting the black controller. But customer service was great and sent me a loaner to do my water tests and then when my 4 station controller came I. I was able to install. I honestly can say I LOVE IT! I have not had any issues thus far and keep reading not so good reviews but I have nothing to say but great things about this product. Only downside is I have hard well water so I have to deal with white calcium build up on controller.

Works but the setup is crazy dumb and over complicated. The APP needs work. Shouldn’t have to have to use other APPs to get the thing to work. Keep it simple Moen!

Cuts off erratically

We installed the shower valve in our master shower and have had nothing but trouble with it from day 1. The power goes out due to the design of the connections. I have to unplug the unit, wait 5 minutes, then plug it back in to see if it will power up. Or, I need to jiggle the wires several times to get power back to the unit. Usually, I need to do this several times. This last time it would not power back on for several days, then mysteriously it started working again.
