According to your website, the tub drain kit is supposed to fit industry standard 1 1/2" drains. This is not the case as when I tried to install, it was too wide and would not fit in the drain shoe. I measured the width of your tub drain and it measured at 1 7/8". I need this in 1 1/2" width.

The 1-1/2” threads refers to the threaded part that installs into the drain shoe. The drain seat included with the Moen T90331ORB Push-N-Lock tub drain kit with 1-1/2” threads is 2-13/16” when measured from edge to edge. If the currently installed drain shoe has 1-1/2” threads, you can use the Moen T90331ORB Push-N-Lock tub drain kit with 1-1/2” threads. Can't figure out how to remove to clean

I have a clogged drain and I can't figure out how to get the top off so I can get the hair out that is clogging it. I just need to get a snake in there but it is not user friendly.
